Kris Bunda
I'm a 3D CAD Professional, Web Designer, and Graphic Artist - Living in Central Iowa, USA, and Loving Life.
What are we doing here?
This blog is titled Designer Rants because I want to showcase interesting design trends, How-To articles, posts about my family, and also have an outlet for my rants (you don’t have to read them, but it’s good for me ).
Designerly Speaking: I enjoy designing websites, models (3D CAD), and graphics (Logos, Branding, Technical Drawings); I also understand the marketing aspects of this work. If I (or friends & family) have designed something that is interesting and not proprietary, I’ll post it here.
Rantly Speaking: I’m a United States patriot, interested in what policy makers are doing; I’ll complain about special interests who are working against the Working Class and Civil Rights. I’m an intent C-SPAN viewer / Public Radio listener, and I have no time for mis- and un-informed political opinions. I’m also a Science & History buff.
”It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people’s minds.” ~ Samuel Adams, (1722-1803), known as the “Father of the American Revolution.”
Back to design:
If you’re searching for a designer like me, you’re looking for someone to provide top-quality ____________ .
“blank” =
- web presence & sites for small business that engage targeted market segments,
- branding & logo design,
- internet marketing campaigns (SEO: Search Engine Optimization),
- CAD generated drawings, instructions, & schematics,
- to spec. 3-D CAD models & assemblies for steel & plastics manufacturing, or sheet metal fabrication,
- animated videos of a prototype, or architectural walk-throughs,
- Custom GUI (Graphical User Interface) for programs/applications,
- and so on.
Whenever I’m hired to work freelance on a project, it’s important that I communicate with you to find out exactly what you want, create a draft, review it with you (tell me what you like and what needs to be changed), and repeat until a working, top-quality product is created. I do my best to define what I will and will not be providing (in writing) up-front, and then I accept half payment at the start of the project, and the rest when you are completely satisfied with the work.
Of course, quotes are free. Call me if you’re serious about your project. I’m not cheap, but I’m very good.
For more about me and to view my portfolio, check out my website and google profile, and this blog.
