SolidWorks Simulation – Factor Of Safety Wizard 1

Step one:

I chose Max Von Mises Stress since it’s steel.

I came back later and changed the upper limit for FOS from 3 to 100 to create more visual demonstration and resolution in the plot. (2.6 was called out for Min, and an upper limit of 3 therefore looked pretty blue all over.)
